Andrew McGee is a designer and architect based in New York City. His work has been published by the University of Michigan, as well as Harvard and Columbia Universities, and has been exhibited at Harvard University, and the Berlage Institute, among others. He has been an invited design juror at Harvard, Columbia, Syracuse and Pratt Universities.

Andrew is director and co-founder of FORMAT Architecture Office, an interdisplinary design collective that is interested in exploring the connections between art, graphic design, and architecture in urban settings. Previously, he was a project manager at Studio Gang Architects and Deborah Berke Partners, where he worked on such projects as the American Museum of Natural History Gilder Center, and the award winning design for the Cummins Indianapolis Headquarters, among other projects.

He holds a Master of Architecture with Distinction from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of Michigan. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, and an NCARB-certified architect, with registration in the state of New York.
